MK Week 22 – Patience vs Patients
Words are the highest form of architecture!
We have learnt throughout the MasterKey Experience that words are the highest form of architecture and how important it is to express what you want and mean clearly and concisely. Otherwise your subconscious cannot help you achieve your desires. Chapter 22 explains ‘that our my thoughts are spiritual seeds, which when planted in the my subconscious mind, have a tendency to sprout and grow, but unfortunately the fruit is frequently sometimes not to our my liking.’ (Haanel 22:Intro)
It must be very confusing for people trying to learn English when we have so many words that sound the same but have completely different meanings. These are call homophones (homo – means one; phono – means voice), which makes the task of choosing your words carefully is doubly important. For example, there is a HUGE different between Patience and Patients!!
‘If the state of our my health is not all that could be desired, let us me examine our my method of thinking; let us me remember that every thought produces an impression on the my mind; every impression is a seed which will sinks into the subconscious and forms a tendency; the tendency will be to attracts other similar thoughts and before we I know it we shall I have a crop which must be harvested.’ (Haanel 22:2)
Haanel discusses the idea that to heal ourselves is possible through the power of thought, so if you have a physical ailment that you do not want, you can choose to focus on being perfectly healthy, have patience, maybe even check out natural healing through herbs and essential oils, and let nature take it’s course and allow the cells in your body to repair themselves, or you can be a patient and go to the doctor for synthetic medication, which may not be good for the rest of your body. Almost all chemical drugs and medicines carry a warning about possible side effects! Naturally some conditions need expert help and advice but your thinking affects you.
Your thoughts also have side effects! It all depends on where your focus is, being healthy or lack of being healthy! There can be no ‘unhealth’, only lack of health, because ‘unhealth’ has no vitality. If you think of yourself as healthy and have patience your vibration will be higher than if you think of yourself as a patient who is unhealthy, because thought is vibrational energy.
‘The way to health is founded on the law of vibration, which is the basis of all science, and this law is brought into operation by the mind, the “world within.” It is a matter of individual effort and practice. Our My world of power is within; if we are I am wise we I shall not waste time and effort in trying to deal with effects as we I find them in the “world without,” which is only an external, a reflection.’ (Haanel 22:13)
Haanel highlights that when we hear something that strikes us as funny we laugh. Have you ever laughed so much that you felt you were going to lose control of your bladder!! 🙂 No one and nothing physical was done to you, you caused the physical feelings yourself through the power of your focused thought. I like knowing this. I find it comforting and uplifting to deepen my understanding of the power of my thoughts because it gives me control over my own life. Laughing is a necessity of life. Have fun out there! 🙂
