It makes no difference!

It is simply mind blowing how much deeper the insights and lessons you learn each time you go through the MasterKey Experience. Several things have jumped out of Chapter 4 for me. The fact that all the Universal Laws work with exact precision on both the  physical and mental plain really hit home for me this week. Do you think electricity cares whether you are a Prince or a pauper? Of course not! It is up to you as an individual to learn and understand the rules of electricity in order to help yourself. Does that mean we all need to become an electrician? Again, no of course not! Just respecting the power and using it correctly is sufficient for most people.

‘This law as well as every other law is no respecter of persons, but is in constant operation and is relentlessly bringing to each individual exactly what he has created; in other words, “Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.” (Haanel Forward)

Pretty simple when you think about it. So why do we not get to grips with the spiritual laws like we do with the physical laws? Haanel tells us that each form of life and matter gets smaller and more refined. The invisible forces of the Universe are more powerful than the visible forces. It doesn’t require much effort to understand that a hurricane is more powerful than throwing a stone. What is a hurricane? It is a strong wind that has gathered enough momentum to propel itself. And what is wind? It is static air in motion. It is obvious even to the untrained eye that electricity, heat and light are powerful energy forces, and they are natural forces we can not produce and use to our advantage unless we understand how to respect and use them.

‘And as the most powerful forces of Nature are the invisible forces, so we find that the most powerful forces of man are his invisible forces, his spiritual force, and the only way in which the spiritual force can manifest is through the process of thinking. Thinking is the only activity which the spirit possesses, and thought is the only product of thinking.’ (Haanel 4:intro) 

So Mind is static energy and thought is mind in motion. If thought energy is more powerful than human muscle energy how can we learn to use our mind, our thoughts, to greater benefit than we have previously? Like daily music practice leads to mastery of an instrument so daily thought habits lead to mastery of our life. I have taken the liberty to change Haanel’s words below by replacing in blue type ‘you’ with ‘I’ and ‘yourself’ with ‘myself’ and ‘your’ with ‘my’. It really makes the words come alive and personal!

‘But when you I have learned to control yourself you myself I will have found the “World Within” which controls the world without; You I will have become irresistible; men and things will respond to your my every wish without any apparent effort on your my part.’ (Haanel 4:14)  BAM!!!!

As we learn to use our creative imagination and focus our minds on what we desire, and back our desires with feelings, the energy we radiate draws to us the things we require to fulfil our desires. The problem is most people do not know what they want, they do not make a plan, and so are tossed around the waves of life like a ship without a Captain. But the man or woman who takes the time to decide for him or herself what it is they want, and creates their life mentally by use of visualisation and creative imagination backed by feeling will succeed, like a Captain who decides where he wants to go and why he wants to go there. He prepares his chart and sets sail, steering his ship always in the direction of his intended destination. Why doesn’t he give up when the sea gets rough? Because his overriding feeling of fulfilment is driving him from within.
